Making Waves

Making Waves is a project by artist Daniel Seiple that invites refugees and other errant bodies to build a motorboat. Since 2018, with participants Hassan Aji, Nafee Kurdi, Hanna Aljarada, Walid Bara, Momtaz Dimashki and others, the group has been constructing a modestly luxurious yacht which will launch next year. Members of the Making Waves team will join the citizenShip for a multi-day fishing trip for discarded underwater metallic objects and history – a mini-vacation from their own boat.
